Love him or hate him pure class of a man good luck to you Fereira

Managed to crack a connection from my neighbors in Ethiopia... internet service is terrible in Somalia laugh.gif

Haven't really been posting on these forums as I've been bogged down in residency putting in 100 hr work weeks but I try to keep up with the forums and of course PAO news and games

I'll just chime in with my two cents about Jesoualdo...

First and foremost, I thank him, and I believe as PAO supporters, we should ALL thank and applaud him for putting up with PAO in this state and giving it his best shot and trying to rebuild our team. He's a good, honest hardworking man with the best intentions and had his back against the wall. He had a vision and plan, but given PAO's insecurity and instability he could only do so much. He, as ANY OTHER COACH, was destined to FAIL. Put yourself in Ferrierra's shoes.

Let's say you have a big meeting at work with the boss after an extremely difficult and unsteady year. The boss promises you things wouldnt be the same and guarentees the plan he put in action would succeed. A few months into your job, your employees that work under you are not paid, the "plan" is falling apart, and your company is on the brink of bankruptcy. All things that you were promised would not happen, are happening again. Not only that but the work environment is corrupt from top to bottom. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Ferierra gave it a honest shot. He was asked to make gold out of lead and was fighting an uphill battle. The MME would love to throw Fereirra under the bus for anything.

Did our team underperfrom given the talent on this roster? Yes, absolutely, however Ferierra coudl only do so much to motivate his players. If the players are not playing because conditinos are poor, and you as a coach cannot correct those conditions because they are out of your hands, then what you can do is extremely limited. I hope people do not expect us to be playing the pants off SL teams. We may play with a little bit more urgency for a few games, but we will continue to play poorly until PAO becomes stable. Until some significant money is injected into this team, we will compete for 2nd or 3rd spot at most.

Goodbye Ferierra. Thanks for the memories. I'm glad you were our coach for so long. If you werne't so old and ready for retirement laugh.gif I would have wished to see you again at PAO at its healthy state.

I'm following Henk Ten Cate on tweeter but weirdly enough he has a photo of Greekfreezer on his main page. Strange, HTC is negotiating to coach in Madagascar next Season and Yes, internet connection is possible on the big Island in the Indian Ocean.

@ Freezer, very good post about Ferreira , especially agree on your last paragraph. Best of luck with your residency and chime in whenever you can at the forums.

Today's game should remind us of the hard work Ferreira has done the past couple of seasons.

PAO is better for it...has we not have him, and with our budget...we may have had HACKS, and old timers like AEK did the past couple of seasons with the likes of Dabizas, lagos, lymbe, etc...(no offense to the aek fans-good players, just needed to retire them a bit sooner). now your youth would've had a bit more experience.

That youth coach deserved to play in his mid30s he was a paiktara
And finished on his terms . Libe kept his levels till the end
Even when he came on against Germany I'm euro he was the only one who new how to hold on
To the ball. A good libe was always a big loss for aek and us
