LOL!!!!!

The kid looked impressive. I hope he can keep it up, and I would like to see more of the team that ended the game today. Mantzio desrves a shot, and I think he and Tsigas along with Pap and Salp are all we need for our offence.... unless we get a huge name, lets keep the Greeks1

Now Olgaki and Greekaus brought up very good points....

Alright, Nini played a tremendous game, probably the best PAO player on the field next to Ivan, Mantzio, and Galinovic... but NOW what??? Should he be continually included in the squad? Should he play every game and be considered a starter? Should he be used as a fringe player like Leontiou?

I think I'd include him in every squad (kick out Romero) and then decide on how well he's played during the past days to determine if he woudl be ready to play in the starting 11, but I'd always have him in my "plans"...

Thing I like most about him is not that the has great technical ability.. its the fact that this kid has SPUNK... He has a carefree attitude, goes in on the 1 on 1s even though they are twice his size, and plays with a flair and passion... Great player to watch

He needs to be careful though, this media shit could go to head.. I mean he's ALL OVER THE PLACE... Munoz should sit him aside and talk to him and keep him in check

i wish this kid well.

but its dangerous to see how all the sports papers in greece have made him front page news, the new saravakos etc.

this isnt good for him, or for the expectations of the fans.

hopefully with the help of his coach and his family, he'llignore the publicity and work hard.

i also hope, for the sake of you vazelia, that your wonderful owners dont sell him next year smile.gif

Right on all points. When you are 16, too much praise can go to your head. It's just natural. He must make sure his feet are firmly on the ground. He hasn't done anything yet and has a lot to learn.

He seems level headed and we must not worry, there are many of them. He is one lucky enough to be shown daylight in Greece. There is the talent here, not just El Ninio.

What is significant is Munoz by playing him has just shown Tzigger he knows more about football than he does. Most with think this obvious but people like tzigger need to be proved they are stupid - they never realise it by themselves (like this guy who said Davids is not a pitbull). Munoz has just plucked a 16 year old from the acadamy and shown he is better than most the old European signings. This is simply a statement that Munoz knows his shit and knew the kid could do it. In Spain this stuff happens all the time, in Greece it is rare. Now we just need another 3-4 modern coaches and Greece has not only got a better league, but also a stronger NT squad.

This kid has got some of us lads saying "that could have been me". His a right winger that can play up front and can offer an attacking option for Munoz. We all expected Katranas to get his chance before anyone but I’m pretty sure his a centre midfielder and pao has too many centre midfielders. Good luck to the kid and hopefully this experience can alter Greek football and trigger clubs to stop buying foreigners and start investing in youth. I wouldn't be surprised if olympiakos give their 17 y old wiz kid "giannoulis Fakinos" a debut.

hate to break up the party but he looked albanian, from the moment I saw him. Could be bullshit, but he was actually born in albania and you guesed it just as i did, Ninis is not a Greek name, doesn't sound right at all. Nini however is a common Albanian name. Still great prospect, but clearly another Kone, pure Albanian in greek colours and language but born in Albania.

I read that he was born in Himara. I think there is a greek minority living there (Pyrros Dimas was also born there). Anyone with info on that?

Well i looked up the wiki and it said he was born in albania. Than i checked the name, and Nini is a common Albanian name. He could be a total Greek but my instinct tells me he is just another Albanian immigrant's son.
