How Ibrahim Kutluay behaved during those events ?

PAO won 102-96.
Here is a link to the recap of the game, not sure if it answers all your questions though.

The whole efes team protested when the ref didnt count the last free throw that would make the score 95-95... instead the players walked away from the court and the fans got angy and started throwing stuff...
Efes didnt have the right to do that but the fans embarrassed them selfs and so did their owner (again)

it was a great game though

EFES is really excellent team. They showed how to play against both opponent and the referee. It was a great game but EFES won properly. Also the show after the game was magnificient.Especially SOLOMON's hıgh performance gave us the victory. We are sure that they will win the third match and qualify for the final four. clapping.gif clap2.gif clapping.gif clap2.gif clapping.gif clap2.gif clapping.gif clap2.gif

Did you even watch the game or are you talking out of your ass? Panathinaikos played with balls in front of 12,000 turks who turned the match into a politcal scene where throughout the whole game they were throwing bottled water, coins and anything else. Furthermore, having three banners that are uncalled for. I bet the majority of fans that went to todays game didnt know what a basketball was but went to yell for Turkey because your media hyped it up In Athens 5 bottles were thrown and you guys ran off the court, Today hundreds of bottles were thrown along with other stuff but we stayed like men and finished the battle. We showed heart today and how can you even talk about the refs when they clearly played home court as they would not stop the match when your fans(if you want to call them that) were throwing whatever and were over the Panathinaikos bench spitting and blowing frog horns. Come to Athens turks. ph34r.gif

Oh my clever boy!How can you compere the events that occured in ATİNA and in İSTANBUL.Didn't you remember that your stupid fans and even the president of panathinaikos spitted to the refs and our bench in first match. Also one of your drug addicts tried to attack our players. I wonder to know why the greek tv stopped the broadcast.May be they want to hide something which happened that night.I think FİBA should change the place of third match.

What Fiba needs to do is banning Efes from playing infront of crowd again. They were complaining about 3 bottles in Athens and yesterday it was a warzone.

It was not nice having those banners, the virginity one is bit disgusting also.
There was a banner in Athens saying "Istanbul is ours" or something like that. And a Cyrprus map in Greece flag etc.
So same kind of and more stuff is displayed in second match.
The first match took lots of place in Turkish media and people were yelling about the second match days before. So those kind of banners and hot pressure was an expected destiny.
Not nice but i mean it is expected after the first match.

I hope sensible Greek fans will prevent worse events in 3rd match (which seems an utopia)

Yea you won the bet.
Many of them were there just in case of the first match.
Efes hasn't got a fan base in Turkey. They are a strong company team located in Istanbul and people go to their matches just to watch some basketball, thats it.
But as you mentioned, the ones who got crazy about the first match and took it as a politic issue, went to this match and showed the anger. No matter the basketball...
Do you know that thousands were outside and couldn't enter the court ? It was all the first matchs echo.

Let's wait the last match,
I'm not very interested in Efes successes but this will worth to watch i guess.

in national area Turkey was the European finalist in 2002, lost the final and finished the European Championship 2nd.
Efes got an European cup (at 1998 i guess)
plus losing one final and lost a final-four
These are remarkable achievements, there are some final-fours also achieved by different clubs.
at younger ages Turkey has a brighter future, already won many awards at those stages like winning high schools world cup, u-17 euro cup final etc.

you dont understand- Cyprus seriously is Greek- yes there is a minority of turks who live there now. anyways I have always seen these flags because there are some fans who live in Athens but have family or are origninally from Cyprus, or even just visiting and at the game. The Greek flag with the map of Cyprus is the original-older flag of Cyprus. i saw this at the euro celebrations and on tv many times its no way offensive.

THATS PRETTY GOOD!

HERE ARE SOME GREEK BASKETBALL ACCOMPLISHMENTS!

BASKETBALL-

NATIONAL TEAM:

EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS- 1 GOLD ‘87, 1 SILVER '89, 1 BRONZE ‘49

NIKOS GALIS- ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER IN EUROBASKET ‘83 231 PTS (33,0) / ‘87 296 PTS (37,0) / ‘89 178 PTS (35,6) / ‘91 162 PTS (32,4)

CLUB TEAMS:

PANATHINAIKOS- SUPROLEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1996/2000/2002

OLYMPIAKOS- SUPROLEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1997

AEK ATHENS- CUP WINNERS CUP (SAPORTA CUP) 1968 / SAPORTA CUP 2000

PAOK SALONIKA- SAPORTA CUP 1991 / KORAC CUP 1994

ARIS- FIBA EUROPE CUP 2003 / SAPORTA CUP 1993 / KORAC CUP 1997

MAROUSSI- SAPORTA CUP 2001

AEL LIMASSOL (CYP) FIBA (SOUTH) REGIONAL CHALLENGE CHAMPS 2003

*RECORD- WORLD GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS IN BASKETBALL ATTENDANCE IN 1968 AEK ATHENS

OUR NATIONAL TEAM HAS BEEN REALLY UNLUCKY IN OLYMPIC AND WC GAMES, THEY HAVE GOTTEN 5TH PLACE LIKE 10 TIMES, HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET AN OLYMPIC MEDAL SOON, SHOULD HAVE HAD ONE LAST YEAR thumbdown.gif . OUR YOUNGSTERS HAVE DONE A LOT TOO, THE MOST MEMORABLE FOR THEM IS WHEN THEY BEAT THE U21 USA TEAM THAT INCLUDED TIM DUNCAN/ALLEN IVERSON/JASON KIDD E.T.C., THIS WAS LIKE 10-12 YEARS AGO. OUR CLUB TEAMS HAVE ALSO SCREWED UP BIG TIMES, BEING IN MANY FINALS, BUT I GUESS WHAT WE HAVE IS RESPECTABLE. WE HAVE ALSO HAD MANY ALL-STARS ON THE EUROPEAN ALL-STARS GAMES! THERE ARE MANY MORE THINGS BUT I DONT REMEMBER THEM ALL (TOO MANY). OUR BASKETBALL HAS FALLEN LATELY (STILL HAVE ONE OF THE BEST LEAGUES IN THE WORLD THOUGH), HOPEFULLY IT CAN RECOVER! GOOD LUCK TO PANATHINAIKOS, HOPEFULLY THEY CAN START A REVIVAL IN OUR BASKETBALL! thumbs.gif thumbs.gif thumbs.gif thumbs.gif
