Yes, I will be updating everything in here, if Yiannis wants to make a Kastoria section under the C' Division I would be grateful, but it isn't really necessary.

Kastoria won the Greek Cup in 1980, that is there major claim to fame.

I'll translate the history from their website to English in the next few days for everyone.

The History of Kastoria - 1963-1974

Kastoria, the team of Furriers, were given birth in 1963 from the fusion of three teams that existed up to then in Kastoria; Aris, Atromitos and Orestiada. The creation of the new team was to cover the endeavors of all those that saw that the prefecture of Kastoria needed its own representative in the land of the big teams in our country's football. In fact the sacrifices and the toil of the people of Kastoria took "flesh and bones" the playing period of 1973-1974, when their team, after a victorious road finished first in the third group of the B' Ethniki and entered the top flight with her sword. Her debut in the A' Ethniki was made on 29 September 1974, against the also newly-promoted PAS Giannina with 1-0, with a goal from Anestis Afentoulidis. The starting 11 that Kastoria used to begin her Golden Age in the A' Ethniki is as follows: Ermeidis, Tsouloukidis, Gitsis, Argyros, Parasxos, Karafeskos, Karaxisaridis (64 ' Kopanos), Alexiadis, Siantsis, Kesidis, Afentoulidis.

Δυστυχώς όλες οι ομάδες της επαρχίας έχουν προβλήματα και χάθηκαν δυνάμεις όπως η ομώνυμη ομάδα της Καστοριάς, της Δόξας, της Βέροιας, του Πιερικού κτλ.

8 new players and a new coach for the season. Only 5 of the 23 on the roster are 30+ which is a good thing. Our coach is the former coach of the Skopje National team, under him they raised their world ranking from 96th to 58th. He also coached Vardar Skopje who was taking part in Champion's League Qualifying this year and is now participating in the UEFA Cup. I see good things for this year!

in 2001 me and my buddies drove through all of greece and italy. we went to many places in macedonia like thessaloniki, kallithea (halkidiki) florina, prespes,kozani, grevena, veroia, and edessa. the one place i wanted to go to and didnt was lake-locked Kastoria! she looks like a beaut!

Συγγνώμη για την καθυστερημένη απάντηση, όντως η μια φωτογραφία πάρθηκε απο βουνό οδηγόντας για κάποιο εστιατόριο που δεν βρήκαμε αλλά τουλάχιστον έμεινε η στιγμή και η διαδρομή που ήταν φανταστική. Αν συνεχίζαμε το ψάξιμο μάλλον θα το βρίσκαμε αλλά ο χρόνος πίεζε κι έτσι κατεβήκαμε στην πόλη και φάγαμε σε τοπική ταβέρνα.

Αν πάρουμε την χτεσινή εμφάνιση της Καστοριάς σαν βαρόμετρο μάλλον θα πάει καλά στο φετινό πρωτάθλημα. Η Καστοριά μπορεί να πρωταγωνιστήσει μιάς και υπάρχουν τα απαραίτητα (ευρώ), είναι πλούσια η περιοχή και η οικονομία μια απο τις καλύτερες στις επαρχιακές πόλεις.

On a side note, Byzas Megaron who we thrashed in their home stadium last week won 2-1 AT KILKISIAKOS....this means that we will absolutely thrash everyone this year!
