Spilio............You're my TNA brother but you're disappointing me right now haha tongue.gif, the Rock and Hogan fall into the same exact boat.....Huge personalities, huge pops, huge crowds, but in the ring the same shit. I mean look at both their finishers, the peoples elbow and the leg drop.....both a follow up to some ridiculous antics but more or less the same lame duck move ...Cena same shit with the five knuckle shuffle, I mean if you look closely they are the same 3 moves with the obvious difference that Hogans is a leg drop.....Their second finishers are the same shit as well, Hogans is a body slam, Cena's is a body slam over his head though, and the rock bottom is a half ass body slam/choke slam................They are in essence all the SAME exact character, just fitting in to different generations:

Hogan---> Older Rowdy overly patriotic red neck crowd.
Rock----> Rowdy teenagers
Cena--- Rowdy little kids

Austin however was a pretty good wrestler even if his character was a rip off of the Sand man from ECW and even if his knee and neck injuries held him back he still had the ability to put on great matches......Austin and Sting are up there as the best for me.

Don't get me wrong file, I grew up with Rock and Austin too and I rate the Rock as well just not as a wrestler, I view him as the same character as Hogan. Hogan in my opinion was just as brilliant as the Rock, especially in his early NWO days , some of the mic skills there were just fucking incredible.....Probably the only heel group to ever get such a pop and I give a lot of credit to Hogan.

Ahahaha I will man although it's a bit hard.....I'm goin got be honest every time I think TNA made a good change and going towards a good direction. they stop there and stay stagnant....Honestly I can't see this company thriving on Spike and in the Impact zone......story line and company changes need to be made.

When we talk of total packages we mean wrestlers that had worldwide appeal to people that don't even watch wrestling, as well as been big parts of wrestling history and a favourite with big wrestling fans too.

If you want to talk about just technical ability, Kurt Angle is prob the best WRESTLER I've ever seen followed by Bret Hart. In terms of exciting matches, Shawn Michaels and Edge were two of the best showmen. As a charachter, the Undertaker for me is unmatched.

Stone Cold is a favourite of mine and your generation's Spillz but I don't think many wrestling historians can put his whole body of work above a Ric Flair's, Undertaker, Bret and even Sting. If it wasn't for injuries, he would have been right up there though.

The Rock is a very good wrestler for me Che21 with a lot of memorable matches. A high intensity rock bottom is one of my fav wrestling sights. On the microphone he is best ever, hands down. Austin and Jericho distant 2nd and 3rd.

And Hogan completely transformed the industry in the 1980's Spillz and was top face for 15 years...then part of the amazing original NWO storyline that's gone down in wrestling legend.

End of the day if you asked both casual wrestling fans and people across the world to name a wrestler...Hogan and the Rock would get most answers.

very true. difference is with the old guys is that Hogan should just give it up, Flair can still go and the Stinger is just unreal for his age... so fit and healthy!

It was pritty good I have to say. Much better than last year!!

The Sheamus-Bryant thing was funny, didnt expect it like that. Taker-Triple H prob took the cake I think, was the most drama filled/intense fight of them all and was good to see Taker win, he was much more rejuvinated this time around. The ending with all three of them going out together was really special.

Punk - Jericho fight was good, thought Jericho had him a few times and Cena Rock fight was ok, I thought Cena dominated and prob deserved the win more.

I think they need to bring back Money in the bank, or a ladder match to WM for the extra bit of WOW factor. That match has always been a massive highlight with incredible moves and at the moment their just too grounded.

Loved Maria Marounos's Greek top! Kelly Kelly looked amazing as always! Oh and im happy Team Johnny won!!! laugh.gif

Thought it was good also... Cena not winning surprised me but ill take it cause i hate the cunt tongue.gif

i picked that ending as soon as he went for the elbow, knew the rock would get up and rock bottom his ass... It was a solid ppv. I thought Jericho and Punk were great, punk was never going to lose becasue Jericho is leaving again to do the Fozzy tours.

Take and HHH was certainly the end of an era... i think thats it for those guys... time to pass the torch.

Watched WM28 last night. Awesome matches with Taker and HHH taking the cake. The exit brought a tear to ones eye...

Taker seems to have let himelf go a bit, the gut is popping out there. Time to retire and skull back a few cold ones i reckon wink.gif

Take a look at some of Chris Benoit's, Dean Malenko's and Eddie Guerrero's earlier stuff mate. You'll change your mind about Kurt Angle.

Don't like Angle at all. Attention seeking idiot.

have to agree with Stel... although Angle is fantastic technically,..,. those guys mentioned, Benoit-Malenko-Guerrero-Saturn-Jericho.. they led the cruiser-weight division in WCW for so many years and they were unreal... some amazing matches.

You guys are being harsh on Angle. He is definitely a very skilled wrestler and the amount of damage he has taken the last few years have shown a lot as far as how good of a wrestler he is.

Dean Malenko was DEFINITELY an awesome wrestler, same goes for Perry Saturn........WCW was overall more awesome at the time especially their cruiserweight division, then they went to fucking wwf and started falling in love with mops and shit sleep.gif

For me my total package would have to be Sting. The intensity. The image. The talk. The years he's put in. The storylines. The technical abilities earlier in his carrier especially. Deff my favorite wrestler.

In WWF i would say Stone Cold. Just epic and he deff had the technical abilities it's just his injuries really limited him after ECW

Agreed that Angle WAS very talented - although a moonsault off the top of the cage does get a bit boring after a while.

Perhaps if he spent less time talking about the WWE on Twitter and bitching to TMZ about stuff, then he'd be taken serious
