Just because they have spent a half billion on players the past 3-4 years since the Sheiks took over does not mean they have spent all that wisely and it will guarantee them many league titles.

In fact, for the most part a lot of that money was wasted on huge busts : Santa Cruz,Job,Robinho,Adebayor and now Tevez.

Kolarov,Lescott, Milner are shit 20 + mil players, Clichy is hopelessly average etc so they still need to find the blend of great talent and hardworking , complemntary players that is necessary for the level of consisency required to win trophies, whether its in England or in the CL.

At times Citeh looks unbeatable and brilliant ( at Yids-Manure for example ) while at other times they look disinterested and defensive. Still, they have bought some terrific quality players in Silva-Yaya-Aguero-Nasri-Dzeko-Balotteli etc. IMO, they will win this EPL this Season but they have more defeats in them yet and they are fortunate that United and Chelsea are also in some transistion period.

Crumbled since Yaya and Kompany have been missing. No leadership without them two. Just lucky for them Defoe-King somehow got them 3 pts rather than 0 when they beat the Yids.

Hence the Pizarro loan who he coached at Inter, while they are away at the African Cup, see if that helps

Watching the match against Porto. Had Aguero weighted his pass better, Toure would have put them two-nil up and through to the next round. Hulk is fantastic and definitely EPL quality. I saw him marked by two defenders and he still managed to drive a dangerous cross across the goal mouth; Porto had no one on the end of it so that chance went begging.

Cant believe that Joe Hart almost won it for Citeh... great header only to be saved with an awesome diving parry.

I felt it was a bit of justice as the penalty that Aguero won was a 9.5/10 dive... Sporting the better team over 2 legs... what a dissapointing effort by the money spenders.

If Mancini is there next season I'm a monkey's uncle.
Any team with Hart, Kompany, Y Toure, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez should be wrapping up this title in March.
And now he wants more money cos he lost the Toure brothers to the AfroCup.

Never rated him as a manager and his handling of Balotelli vs Arsenal is a reason why.

Yep, Man City is an ideal fit for the Special one. Good squad and with unlimited funds at his disposal . He will take them to the league title and far into the CL in his very first Season. Just like he did with Chelsea in 04.

Wrong set of players . Balotelli-Tevez shit , disruptive characters. A manager that is a terrible man manager , is too cautious , which is a crime when you have so much offensive/creative talents.

Mourinho would go for broke and in the EPL he will have no problem getting this Citeh team with a few adjustments here or there to win it rather easily.
