He was immense against Fiorrentina agaion. He further epxoses Alvez' weaknesses whenever he lunges out of nowhere with a precision tackle!!! His tackling ability is even better than Kyrgiakos'!!
We all know thatthough. What we dont know, is why there are no talks of his contratc being renewed when its only got 7 months left!!! In 1 month he'll be able to sign with OSFP or whoever else shows him the lettuce. And theres not even discssion of the topic on the media/interviews. Apparently he has been resigned, although it has not been announced officially by the club yet.

Apparently he signed a 4 year contract extension last year...otherwise every team in Europe would have made him an offer by now with January coming up.
I dont want us to sell him though. We should either keep him for the rest of his career and hope to build around him or if we do sell him for nothing less than 10 million. |

Clearly this kid is Greece's best young defender and ideally he stays at AEK for at least a few more seasons before he moves on to a much better league to further his career. He is too young yet and still needs to gain experience as any move now to a big European team that may only want him as a little used squad player (Arsenal for example ) could stagnate him as a player instead of improving him.
No point in him moving to a mid table French or Portuguese team or something as equivalent as that. If he stays until he is 24 or 25 and continues to develope as he has then he can go to a class team and dominate plus AEK will make a killing with the money. You dont want him to become somebody like Tavlaridis so you should definately keep him. |

dude...the kid is 19 years old......dont worry...nothing will happen to him if he leaves greece at the age of 22-23....!so let's relax...let him gain experience...and when he feels ready....he will ask to leave.......chiiiiill

 please lets be serious now ..for a player in an average team in a average league ( by English, Spanish, Italian ect) standards..and a central defender to boot...unless a Russian or Ukrainian team buys him you guys should be VERY happy with 1/2 that amount at most.... Thrylos i respect your opinion but i believe you've hardly seen him play before.
His performances in the CL alone warrant that sort of transfer fee. if making one of the greatest strikers of the last decade look like shite (Vieri), dont warrant that sort of fee what does. He is comfortable on the ball very comfortable wins the headers good on the deck. Now when hes 22/23 hell have been the starting Cb for AEK for around 4 years and will have plenty experience. he will show his class in the Champions league and raise his price further. in 4 years he's the total package class player, experienced, CL player and still young. You think we won't get 10-15 million for him. I mean Spurs paid 16 million pounds for Darrent bent7 million pounds for the very average Kaboul. papasthopouylos is much better than Kaboul already.. I didn't say it wasn't plausible..it certainly is...however he will have to be something very very special for a club to pay that money for a defender..and this guy may well become that good...it will be at least another 5 years before he is worth that much anyway...time will tell ..but to predict he will be worth that much now is laughable IMO..
