Pyrsos lost in the 2nd round of the Greek Cup to Kallithea 4-1 and was eliminated from the competition.

Οι προπονητές έκλεψαν την παράσταση στο παιχνίδι ανάμεσα στον Εορδαϊκό και τον Πυρσό Γρεβενών, που βρήκε νικήτρια την ομάδα της Πτολεμαΐδας με 2-0.

Αμέσως μετά το τέλος της συνάντησης ο Στέφανος Γαϊτάνος παραιτήθηκε από την τεχνική ηγεσία του Εορδαϊκού, καθώς οδεύει προς τη Βέροια προκειμένου να αναλάβει τη θέση του γενικού διευθυντή.
Ο τεχνικός των φιλοξενούμενων, Γιώργος Καμπερίδης, δεν ακολούθησε την αποστολή της ομάδας στα Γρεβενά, καθώς κρατήθηκε στο αστυνομικό τμήμα της Πτολεμαΐδας.

Ο 44χρονος τεχνικός θα περάσει από αυτόφωρη διαδικασία με την κατηγορία ότι απώθησε τον 4ο διαιτητή της συνάντησης, Ε. Τομίδη. Ο τελευταίος υπέβαλε παραίτηση και η συνέχεια θα δοθεί σήμερα στις δικαστικές αίθουσες.

They did not play, as they only have 5 players on the roster officialy. They were supposed to have played in Trikala, but lost on paper 3-0. They will have a full roster by the first game but will most likely be assesed 3 points wether they play or not. So they will most likely start the season at -3 and could possibly get fined anywhere from 20,000 - 100,000 euro for the
no-show in Trikala.

Looks like Pyrsos Grevena is out of the 3rd division and being dropped to D' Division after failing to submit an application for the next season:

Μετά την παρέλευση της ταχθείσης προθεσμίας από την Ένωσή μας, για υποβολή της Δήλωσης Συμμετοχής στα Πρωταθλήματα της Β΄ και Γ΄ Εθνικής Κατηγορίας, προέκυψε, ότι δεν υπέβαλαν δήλωση στο Πρωτάθλημα της Γ΄ Εθνικής Κατηγορίας , η Π.Α.Ε. ΑΙΓΑΛΕΩ, η ΠΑΕ ΚΑΛΑΜΑΤΑ και η Π.Α.Ε. ΠΥΡΣΟΣ ΓΡΕΒΕΝΩΝ.

Το Δ.Σ. της Ένωσης μετά από έκτακτη συνεδρίαση της 13-08-2010 αποφάσισε ομόφωνα, και σύμφωνα με το άρθρο 7 παράγραφος 3 του Κ.Α.Π. ότι οι προαναφερόμενες ομάδες υποβιβάζονται στην αμέσως κατώτερη κατηγορία.
