I'm looking for freeware to chop up a large mp3 file into smaller pieces. The things that I have found online are either just trials (lasting only 7-10 days) or cost money. There has to be an easier way.

Any help will be much appreciated - ever since I had a whole bunch of anti virus stuff installed into my pc I cant search google and when I look up yahoo it will search and then get a white screen saying this for both - 404 Not Found in big bold writting and nginx under it in small writting.

Any ideas how to get around this? I have windows vista...

Hey mate, you can do what Manolara suggested but the actual problem is that your HOST file has been edited by malware, and is redirecting your HTTP request to another IP.

To fix this, log in with an account that has administrator privileges
- navigate to the following location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc,
- right click on HOST and open with notepad,
- delete anything that refers to yahoo, you may want to delete everything after hashed out comments (#),
- save it.

That should fix it.

Medienal Cue splitter is brilliant.
As implied, you need the .CUE file.
But if you have it, and the original MP3 with all the songs as one file, it's quick and easy to use.
