Since I quite like this club even before Hernandez plus the fact that my favourite coach trains them too this season, I decided to slowly keep track of their season match by match: post some videos, personal comments, interviews and articles etc..

Earlier today they got a precious point (draw) against "naughty" Kavala, and that should be a good result and a bit of confidence booster for the continuation of the season and its salvation battle, although they have been in a fine form for a couple of months now, especially at home. They score, but also have problems in defense!

They are hosting PAOK now and they are still in the relegation zone. Always kinda being at -3 to their fighting-for-survival rivals. It's not because they play bad, it is also 'cause others succeed at getting some points and home wins too like larisa and iraklis, and 'cause Levadiakos had horrible start before Kike joined.

Another stuff, difficult for their salvation and being on secure spot is 'cause Xanthi, Larisa and Iraklis all are kinda threatened by relegation this season too, but even when being so always managed to survive like Iraklis for example recent years, and all have more mentality, biger names and superleague experience than Levadiakos, so I still think they are difficult to stay up.

We will see.

Macado (injury) and Taralidis (suspension) are out for this match. 2 starters and quite important figures for them.

Agali should be back, at least off bench, since he is declared as innocent a few days ago in the fiasco case ended up at court in Holland due to suspects on falsified passports apparently with himself been caught at airport huh.gif

Lost to PAOK 0:2. First goal, OK let's say a good action but again the defense felt naive. The second goal Lino off a set piece from quite left was cheap as hell. Probably Stratilatis could have read/anticipate the situation better and eventually save it, but OK.

First half 3 classic chances: First 2 mis/hits by Barkoglou both from a very close range from Chalkias. Third is a weak left foot of Napoleoni after 1-2 with Nacho Gonzalez.

Overall Barkoglou and Napoleoni had a bad day otherwise..who knows

In the second half they tried to attack and shoot something (but everything went weak actually)and that left some space for PAOK and Vieirinha who blew it twice, overestimating himself and laws of nature trying to be Messi but he came out like a dick, instead.

PS. Nacho Gonzalez came loaned from Valencia and already showed his class. Paixtara on his own. Great passer and mover as we agreed in Aris forum talking about the match

Hellenic Cup: Levadiakos vs. Kavala 0:0 (Kavala progressed on penalties)

Levadia played some period with a player plus, but couldn't convert it, nor in extra time! sad.gif
