Yeah havent even seen Sots yet as he was stuck in the Prelims...needs to win his next fight. Problem with him is as good as he is technically, he doesnt have knockout power i dont think.

Time for the Axe Murderer to retire, no chin left!

Some great fights the other night...what a knee by Condit, top finish from Tito, and the title fight was close.

It's really sad to see that happen to Wanderlei sad.gif I think he might have just a little bit still left in him though.....As for Sotiropoulos, his last 2 matches he has just looked too sluggish , and his creativity is lacking..........He needs to get some confidence back.

I think Shogun vs Hendo is the best MMA fight i've ever seen since i started watching it. Oh my God what a battle it was last night. Amazing fight!!

The only problem is i think the result was wrong. Hendo had the 1st 3 rounds at 10-9, then Shogun took the 4th and completely dominated in the 5th which should've been 10-8. Should've been a draw. Needs to be a rematch before Hendo gets another fight.

Heres a link to another great fight from the smaller organisation Bellator.

Gooner , WOW! I have been watching UFC with my father non-stop and streaming all the pay-per-views since 2005 and a huge PRIDE fan before that , and I must say that was definitely one of the greatest battles I have ever seen in my life. Hendo is fucking immortal being able to fight at that level at 41 and Shogun is a warrior for fighting through the first rounds. Two legends putting on a great show.

Also I think the result was actually fair because UFC isn't tallied the way that boxing is, I think its based on who wins more rounds although I'm not sure. It seemed really loose to me so I really can't tell but I'm sure after this fight we will see both men get a shot at the title.

btw do you know where i can find the full hendo-shogun fight for a friend?

The judges can do 10-8 rounds, even a 10-7. Dana White said it should've been a draw so lets see if theres a rematch.

I tried searching for it too, but couldnt find it. I think the only way is through torrents mate.

Hendo won it 3/5 rounds, he just got tired in the end. Amazing heart from Shogun to cop a beating and keep going on.

How bout what Silva did to Cung Le's face!

Man seriously , Shogun really did show a lot of heart making it through to the final rounds, hendo's right hand has been known to put people out with one punch and shogun took a few.

Manolara although I loved the main event I have to say the Wanderlei fight was one of the most satisfying, Kung le gottt fuckedd upp , but he almost owned it to in the first round with those sickk kicks. I almost got scared there for a minute at the thought of having to say goodbye to Wanderlei sad.gif ............at least now we know we'll see the axe murderer at least one more time!!

Oh my God that was nasty!! Felt sorry for Big Nog there man...looked like he was gonna get the win but he couldnt finish off Mir. Hope he's ok.

What a great night of fights mostly...7 second KO by the Korean Zombie, Little Nog winning, and Jones putting Lyoto to sleep to retain his belt!! The guy looks invinicible at the moment.

Cant wait to be at UFC 141!! smile.gif

Yes but he was never an all round fighter like the other top heavyweights. Relied way too much on getting people on the ground.

Really enjoyed being at the event, great atmosphere! Nice KO from Hendericks on Fitch...would like to see him fight GSP.

I know I'm a bit late on this, but it's about time this finally came out in the open. He had the nerve to tell people they will never get big because of their genetics. Yea it's your genetics, and your needle up your ass that got you big pal..

I haven't found a proper topic...

This saturday, 15th of September in Gdansk, Poland there will be a fight in MMA rules between Mariusz Pudzianowski (five time winner of World's Strongest Man competition) and Christos Piliafas.
Did you guys hear about second fighter? His nickname is "Mad Greek" smile.gif Despite I haven't seen any of his previous fights, I'd bet on Piliafas in this fight.

Interview with "Mad Greek" - video
