I always liked him as a player, he's not brilliant but he gives 100% every time and with some decent service can score some goals. It's a shame to see both he and Estoyanoff leave within a month of each other. In typical Panionios fashion, I bet we won't be making any signings either... I wonder if this had anything to do with it, watch at the end of the video as he gets a red card AFTER fulltime for being aggressive towards Kakos... Discipline was never his strong point... |

I think it was a mix of him wanting to go back to Uruguay and us wanting to save money on the roster... It's a shame becuase when he's at his best he's one of the most damaging players in Greece. I was very sad to see him go.
When they released him, he signed a clause saying that he cannot sign with a European club unti season 2013/14... It's hard to believe that just a few seasons ago we had guys like Recoba, Estoyanoff, Choutos, Tzavellas, Maniatis, Kresic all in the same team...
