Not in my wildest dream I could have imagined that a bunch of internet guys would get together and create the biggest Hellenic soccer event in North America! Can you believe that next year will be the 6th Anniversary of this little thing we all started and called Hellenic Soccer Tournament?

Yes! We send out the email blast yesterday!!! Here's the email:
Dear All, It is the time of the year again to start preparing for the 7th Annual Hellenic Soccer Tournament taking place in Chicago, Illinois, USA over Labor Day Weekend (August 31 - September 2, 2012). Before we sent out to you the full tournament information packet we would like to gauge the interest from all teams, especially those travelling from out of town. We have had a couple of teams from New York express interest for our competitive division already. This year the tournament will be split into two sections. 1) The Hellenic Cup which is a continuation of our core offering (and the reason why this tournament was founded) of three (3) divisions for Greek teams only (must meet minimum player guidelines - 5 non-greek players only out of 22 max team roster). Those are the Recreational, Over-30 and Over-40 Divisions. 2) The Olympiacos Cup presented by Olympiacos Chicago. Is there any way you could register as an individual player in case any team needs to add on to the roster? I couldn't get my team together in time but I will be in Chicago that weekend and if anyone needs another body let me know. I play keeper if anyone needs a goalie.
