Bring back Xabi tongue.gif In all honesty i think Ade for the right price would work very nicely with Suarez.. he knows his way around the box and like a good stiker is deadly in front of goals.

The carroll rumours if true say a lot about him.. mentally he is a bitch. if he has any ounce of ticker then he will bounce back and come out all guns blazing to prove everyone wrong... Perhaps this was the catalyst for something.

I suppose the only way is up from here, he has sunk to a pretty deep low.

All route 1 football stuff mate, not pass and move . He was the wrong player to buy in the system they wanted to implement and one that had Luis Suarez in it as well.

I can find a youtube clip with all of Yakubu's 15 goals for Blackburn so far this Season , Holt's 14 goals for Norwich and Fletcher's 11 goals for Wolves and make a case that LFC should buy them.

Its no shame, Carroll wont be the first nor the last big money transfer that flopped. He could regroup and further his career succesfully at another team. No biggie really. He is not a Liverpool style player, too 1 dimensional , poor ball control and dumb tactically.

I will say one thing watching that video is that with the barcodes, he showed way more desire to go for headers and muscle out defenders. He is a pussy in red , constantly being outjumped by smaller guys. His temperament is suspect.

Moussa Dembele heavily linked from Fulham... i like what i have seen from him... plays wide and attacks, really good with the ball at his feet and seems as though he is gliding with the ball.

and besides, he is belgian... no pom = SIGN HIM~!!!!! laugh.gif

That's a pretty amazing statistic. An inch the right way and Liverpool would be in CL contention. Then again , LFC has a chances to conversion rate of less than 10 % ...Dead last in the league.

Lack pf precision

Here's another belter stat that'll make you wanna finish off that bottle of Chivas Regal:

Liverpool have hit 30 more shots on target than United but have scored 40 goals fewer.

It's April and we've had 1 win in the league!

I started doing it with AEK, think I'll start now with Liverpool (but could have made a fortune by now!), win/draw the opposition you'll be upset at a loss but at least with some extra coin in the pocket!

Good God, planets are not aligning at all.

I can't recall a worse 4 buys than the ones that Kenny and Comolli did this past Summer. Serial underperformers all of them. Excuses over, they are sad men on enormous wages. Offload the lot of them, there is no hope.

Today , IMO only Skrtel and Gerrard put in a shift and did their team proud, Flanno and Luis in patches. The rest were dog shit.
Downing in particular with his 0 assists and 0 goals in 32 games ,should be beaten over the head with Bill Shankley's statue that's standing outside Anfield . I have no idea who this Jordan Henderson is , has a nice tidy hairstyle but cannot posiibly be a footballer.

No idea as well how they can regroup now and go Everton next Saturday in the FA Cup final. Just hope Bellamy-Suarez and gerrard are all fit and ready to go, otherwise it will be embarrassing.

Strongly disagree about Hendo. Thought he was great, he was the only player switching play, his balls from one flank to another were pinpoint. The only bad decision he made all game was to take a shot while off balance from about 30 yards and sky it over the bar. Best position is definitely in the middle not the right.

IMHO Hendo is the new (old) Lucas.
Him and Lucas can form a solid partnership in the middle, both players who like to keep play ticking over and spread the ball to wide areas and the front third. What happens from there onwards is a different story!! tongue.gif

You may be right but I'm only thinking about how Liverpool can at some point contend for the league title. Standards have obviously fallen to alarmingly low levels since Rafa managed the team to 2nd place in 09 .

Henderson -Lucas , I suppose might work if they have great attackers ahead of them ( wingers, strikers etc ) but with Carroll-Downing-Adam-Kuyt etc even with those 2 patrolling the central mid, team would still finish 6th to 8th spot.

For the Everton SF game , got no idea who Kenny will consider to play after all these dissapointing results of late.

Muniain and Llorente should be at the top of the Liverpool wish list

Carroll, Adam and Henderson should be shown the door

The 35 mil spent on Andy Carroll should of got them a World Class striker

The 20 mil spent on Downing should of got them a top class winger

The 16 mil spent on Henderson should of got them a promising, dynamic central midfielder.

The 8 mil spent on Charlie Adam should of got them a seviceable central midfielder with accuate passing skills.

4 BIG NO's . Almost 80 mil , down the drain.

Downing was bought to supply Carroll, this Season they rarely spent time on the pitch together. Negligence in the transfer market and frivolous with the money allocated to them by the new owners. If it wasn't Kenny Dalglish-legend the manager, a lesser name would of been sacked . Carling Cup win or not. Only the FA Cup now ( tall order to get by both Everton and win the final but you never know ) can salvage something out of this horrific Season.

* Munain and Llorente , even Javi Martinez as well ,are all great footballers for Atletico Bilbao , doubt they will be sold in the same transfer window, but together the 3 of them would fetch something near 80 mil, just like the 4 baboons from above.

5 things to fix Liverpool. Interesting read.

wow, what a weird old game that was... showed some serious ticker to get through that one... there is some fight left in us after all it seems... Again it proved to me why maxi works as a great option with his smart movement and passing game down the wing. Thats the 4th goal this season he has scored identically! great work by him.

when doni got sent i thought here we go again but i saw Jones step up and had a feeling he would save it. We did it tough in the end and survived by a thread with 10 men but in the end we knicked it. well done for fighting!

Carroll made up for his earlier gift chance that he bombed... i guess it gives us some momentum into the semi... will be intersting. Jones now will start a cup Semi final... amazing how it works out... I really feel for Doni... Flanno got him sent off.

That was such an important win and fightback to get the team out of the recent rut. Nice that Gerrard and Suarez got a rest before the semi final. Daniel Agger is so vital to this team.
Never understood why Maxi has played so few games this year. He can score and is intelligent on and off the ball. Sometging no other wide player has done much of either this year.

why is kenny such a git during interviews, he kills me laugh.gif

I also think that COates will be a beast as time progresses... he has all the traits of a solid central defender, he is also capable of the odd goal too. Agger's influence when came on was fantastic... also GJ was beating people with ease. Semi here we come, with the lads fit again it should bode well.

I'm pretty sure he's been rude to everyone mate.

And why are you lot kicking off with Alan Davies about what he said? Yes it was a terrible tragedy but if you cant play on that anniversary then you shouldnt play on the Heysel anniversary right?

No other club who has suffered tragedies does this, so why should you lot be any different?

Go and see the BBC interview from last night. Completely different tune. It's amazing how people accept what is thrown in front of them.

Alan Davies was completely wrong with his comment, making a joke out of people dying is ridiculous. WHy should Liverpool play another Liverpool team in London on the day of an anniversary. Both teams obviously have family involved in the tragedy. Furthermore, there is the justice issue. Wrongly or rightly no one has been held accountable for Hillsborough playing the game essentially alludes that justice will never be served.
