Στον ΠΑΟΚ ο Γιάννου

Η ΠΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ ανακοινώνει ότι ήρθε σε συμφωνία με τον 20χρονο (γεν. 25/1/90) επιθετικό Απόστολο Γιάννου. Ο διεθνής με την Ελπίδων ποδοσφαιριστής υπέγραψε συμβόλαιο έως τις 30/6/2014.

«Ο ΠΑΟΚ καλύτερος στην Ελλάδα»

Στις πρώτες του δηλώσεις ως παίκτης του ΠΑΟΚ είπε:
«Είμαι πολύ χαρούμενος που συνεχίζω την καριέρα μου στον ΠΑΟΚ. Θέλω να ευχαριστήσω τη διοίκηση και τον προπονητή που μου δίνουν την ευκαιρία να αγωνιστώ σε μία τόσο μεγάλη ομάδα. Θα δουλέψω όσο μπορώ για να τους δικαιώσω».

Για το αν θεωρεί πως η παρουσία του στην Εθνική Ελπίδων άνοιξε το δρόμο για τη μεταγραφή του είπε:
«Ναι, με βοήθησε η εθνική. Είναι βιτρίνα... Μου δόθηκαν ευκαιρίες. Με βοήθησε να πάρω μεταγραφή στον ΠΑΟΚ».

Για το γεγονός ότι στον ΠΑΟΚ θα παίξει δίπλα σε επιθετικούς όπως οι Αθανασιάδης, Βιεϊρίνια και Σαλπιγγίδης είπε:
«Ο ΠΑΟΚ είναι πολύ μεγάλη ομάδα. Είμαι μεγάλη τιμή που θα δουλέψω δίπλα σε αυτούς τους παίκτες. Θα δουλέψω σκληρά δίπλα τους για να βοηθήσω κι εγώ όσο πιο πολύ μπορώ».

Σε ερώτηση για το πότε θα είναι έτοιμος είπε:
«Χρειάζομαι λίγο προπόνηση γιατί με την Καβάλα δεν κάναμε κανονική προετοιμασία. Σε 10 μέρες θα είμαι εκεί που πρέπει...»

Για την εικόνα που έχει από το φετινό ΠΑΟΚ είπε:
«Ο ΠΑΟΚ έχει δείξει μέχρι τώρα ότι φέτος είναι η καλύτερη ομάδα στην Ελλάδα. Αυτό είδα... Η ομάδα θα πάει πολύ ψηλά».

Τέλος μιλώντας για τον κόσμο του ΠΑΟΚ είπε:
«Θέλω να αποδείξω ότι αξίζω να βρίσκομαι στον ΠΑΟΚ. Θα προσπαθήσω για το καλύτερο. Ελπίζω να με αγαπήσει ο κόσμος και να τον αγαπήσω κι εγώ...»

same was said of Klaus before he got a chance to play regularly and he is turning out to be pretty good so far. Malezas was in a similar spot years ago and now he is a regular in our back line, has been probably our most consistent player this year and has earned a call up to the national team. how can you tell if a 20 year old kid who doesnt get much time to be average? what traits have you seen in him to judge that he can't play on a team like PAOK.

That's the reason most Greek talents dont get decent playing time until their late 20's at best. They get a few minutes here and there at a young age and then get sent to b or c leagues to "ripen" before they can return. Personally, in the limited time that he has played this year, I rate him alot higher than Papazoglou and hopefully can develop into a decent player.

klaus looked better to me when he was younger...i am sorry giannou is a striker who does not score goals..

he has always looked ordinary and average..

I havent seen him play so much simply because he was mainly on the bench for Kavala... deff need to see more of him to make a call on him but silimar to Athanasiadis I would say.

Im sure he set up the third goal. To be honest I think he can become a great player. Needs to improve his shooting.
