Video and scenes from the match yesterday which ended up in a 0-0 draw.

Kids did well by reports with the oldest being 20yrs and the rest 17-18 yr olds.

I don't think such atmosphere has been seen a in the fourth division!!

I saw this on TV yesterday and it made me so happy. This is SO good for the game... getting 3000 fans to D Ethniki is great. It's a nice little income boost for the opposition teams too. Wouldn't it be great if Iraklis fans could stay true right up until they get back into the top division! Best of luck to them... I hope Volos and Kavala fans will do the same...

Good on the Iraklis fans for actually getting behind their team when it mattered, although I still think they should have been coming out when they were in the top flight but such is life. I hope this will continue - will be a great thing to see each game.

Great to see our fans out there even if the team is in the Delta.

EPO seriously needs to hang their head in shame at what they have done to this great club. Not only did they screw the club, they even laid the boots in when they were down.

With the team on the park yesterday, Ira will not get promotion this season. We need to ne allowed to purchase a cpuple of experienced players which we have been banned from doing.

It's an utter disgrace and completely unbelivable as to how it has all transpired as Blueblood mentioned. What is sad is the fact that none of the other clubs threw any support in favor of our club and its plight.
How any organiztion is allowed to blatantly do what they have done to IRA is beyond any logical belief.

from the highlights they showed on TV there were some decent players, one especially caught my eye, who I think will get snapped up very quickly. Great experience for these young kids too, to be playing in front of such a crowd...

I was thinking though, if these 3000 or so fans can stay solid all season, then their income will be at least 10 times bigger than that of their rivals, so they should have no problem making a few signings so that they can gain promotion...

Ήταν ένα από τα γεγονότα του Σαββατοκύριακου κι όμως πέρασε σχεδόν στα «κουφά». Ο Ηρακλής έκανε πρεμιέρα στην Δ' Εθνική. Τον ακολούθησαν 4.000 πιστοί του. Και νιώθουμε περήφανοι εδώ στο gazzetta που αναδείξαμε μια είδηση της… Δ' Εθνικής. Ή μήπως όχι;

7,000 expected at the Kaftanzoglio this weekend.
I'd love to see any other Delta division club pull such crowds.
Our opening match drew close to 3,000 away which is more than I can say for those fuckers at Asteras Tripoli who can barely manage 1500.

QUOTE (blueblood @ Nov 5 2011, 03:41 PM) *
An update as to what has been happening since dropped to the fourth division.

Owner Panteli has packed up and gone.

No new owner or investor has stepped up.

What would say it would cost to take over Iraklis? Would it involve inheriting all their debts as well? if so, how much are these debts? Just curious, wish I had the money to put in a bid though... cool.gif

You wont find an honest soul in Iraklis to tell you. That is part of the reason they are where they are.

^^^You just couldn't help yourself, could you? Just love to still dish it out.

"Not an honest soul in Iraklis"

Where the hell will you find an honest soul in the whole damn league! You want to bring honesty and integrity into this!?

You got what you hoped for, so get back on that bullshit moral high horse of yours and leave us the fuck alone to come out of this.

I am just glad your fans bluff of joining the Fyrom league was just that a bluff. I admit I fell for it. I never thought I would see Greek Salonika residents in my life time waving that flag and organised fans on TV threatening to move there. All this to defend a corrupt club! just because half the league is corrupt also, does not diminish this disgrace. I have spent many many hours of my life defending us against Fyrom, whther it be buying domains so they can't get their hands on them, complaining to livescore/skysports/written letters etc to stop their use of the term 'Macedonia.' etc etc

Anyway, it's the past now. Lets hope the Iraklis that returns is not the same one we witnessed this year fan/management wise. Let's also hope they come back stronger when they do. thumbs.gif
