If you honestly believed at any stage, that we would join the Republic of Macedonia's league then edit.

It was a political statement and at first I couldn't see it, but try having your club dragged through the mud and you too might see it. Stop talking shit that you missed the point and get off your ignorant high horse because the Macedonia point was so blantantly obvious! A stunt and nothing more!

I also take offense to the statement that we are a corrupt club. We are no more corrupt than at least 80 clubs in the Greek league. We forged a document as we were in financial bother. Other clubs has been caught with their pants down throwing matches and fixing games, choosing the refs and this includes club presidents. It stinks of nepatism and hypocricy and you label IRA corupt. Maybe have a good look at the club you support and make an unbiased and impartial asessment of how corrupt they may be. I bet you think they're clean and if you do, well so be it.
However, this is an IRA section of the forum and my statements are only made here. I'm not in the OSFP site labelling Marinakis a corrupt, match fixing, scum bag cheat whose in bed with Pilavio, am I. I'm not in the AEK section questioning thair farcical Cup Final win where there was pitch invasions and baffling calls in favor. If EPO had the balls all those clubs would feel the wraith of the league but no. Pick on the weak!

Let's hope for a win but with EPO's insistence we not buy any palyers as more punishment, I can't see us making miracles. Dropping IRA to the 4th was'nt enough for EPOSFP, they had to ensure we were raped, obviously because we're SO corrupt.(sic)

Kurosawa, as much as some would like for us to roll over and die, they cannot break the spirit, determination and history of our club.

All Iraklideas will stand together united, with much resolve and fight in this shitty situation we have been placed in and we will be rightfully back were we belong and much bigger.

This is what being a fan is all about, it's great to see Iraklis fans sticking by there team, though I bet a few have gone missing in action (usually the same types that start epeisodia, or run on the field to try and fight Sifakis)...

I'm going up to northern Greece for four days next weekend, to watch Drama vs Panionios, so I'll check the fixtures, I wouldn't mind getting to an Iraklis game too if the scheduling permits...

(vid)

Don't be so quick to cast judgement especially with the term scumbags...

The referee is the scumbag in all this demanding fans take down a banner and inciting the fans. Can you imagine a ref demanding OSFP fans where there are 40,000 take down a banner and when they don't, calling off a match???

It has never happened in the history of the game in any country and I'm afraid that Pilavio thinks he is the prophet Mohamed declaring sharia law on Iraklis. He has now declared a fatah on the team and his disciples the refs are carrying that out for him.

What a fucking joke that ref was, calling off a game for a banner. Wht a fucking disgrace. I can see and empatjise why the fans would act that way. It should never have got to that point, but please someone show me an example where a game has been called off for a banner and In will swallow my statemnts!1

To all those who think Ira fans are out of line on this travesty look in your own back yards.

What a FARCE Grek soccer is and probably always was!

While no one and myself included wants to condone violence or rioting, when you have been constantly stomped on and dismissed and backed into a corner, you will lash out.

Police come in heavy handed and shit will happen.

How can a referee call a game off because of a statement or slogan on a banner!? What the fuck!!

This seems more of a systematic campaign to totally wipe us out as we don't pander to EPO and have become a thorn in their side.

Totally agree with my HPA brother on here, don't be quick to judge and cast aspersions as all hell would have broken loose if this happened to any other club.

This is way beyond a farce.

a number of SL matches this year have been stopped for banners and chanting that has deemed to be inappropriate..

the only difference here is that fans stormed the pitch..

Red Sherif is right, it happened at a Panathinaikos match and one other high profile match, i forget which... The banners came down and the match went on. Which, for the record, I believe is BS, what the hell ever happened to free speech...

I hate to defend the cops here, but this is truly a job where you're damned if you do, damned if you don't...

Whenever there are epeisodia either in Syntagma or at the football, you always get people crying about police-brutality but in the same breath, saying they're too soft.

Perfect example, kypello final last year, AEK vs Atromitos, we still had people on here saying the cops were too heavy handed!?!?!?!?! Even though they let the fans invade the pitch and raise hell, only when they started attacking Atromitos players did they intervene...

Looking at the Iraklis footage, the cops were too soft, in my opinion. The idiots who ran in to punch the ref should have copped a beating at least...

The game was called off as a result of the banners Not coming down.
He gave the fans 2 minutes, there were objections where fans cried foul over free speech and he called the match off eventhough both teams wanted to keep playing.
After he declared the game over and awarded to the away team nil-3, the fans took exception and invaded the pitch.

Seems like a set up and EPOSFP got the result they were after. It doesn't take a genious to know how close to breaking point the IRA fans are.

BTW, Aftonomos Thira 10 is totally behind the 3 fans arrested and will be there in force during their court appearances. Let's hope sanity prevails and all mitigating circumstances are looked at impartially by the judge.
However, I'm certain you will all say how disgraceful the IRA fans were, that the club should be banned for life and made extinct which is what EPOSFP would love!

A set up, Yes. No mention of a conspiracy??
The destruction of the club as payback, Yes, absolutely!
EPOSFP wants to destroy IRA because thay fought tooth and nail to stay up however it was not in EPOSFP's interest. There were other clubs they gain more from!

Suh a pathetically weak argument to suggest that we IRA fans are claiming conspiracies, blah, blah, blah!
I'm tired of the rhetoric and all bullshit you guys spin to justify the proper, above board and transparent running of football in Greece. It is corrupt, bankrup and an embarassment to the rest of Europe, the world. Mugabe is a more honest individual when compared to EPOFSP.
Oops, I better stop as I might be again claiming a comspiracy against the might of Iraklis who who a plethora of league titles, Cup titles and billions of Euro's, soon to be Drachmas at their mercy!!! PLEASE! Go back to sleep, tap your little red slippers and say there's no place like the Super League!

Look at the examples I mentioned above as suggestions as to why we IRA fans have had enough of the crap thrown at us! I compared it to few other teams in the same predicament not mentioning the match fixing allegations all you ignorant fans think doesn't exist! There is no proof except tape recordings..... HELLO!
