RED DEVIL I was hoping the Heat catch up because I could not get my bet for the Celtics ordered sad.gif

I could have been a couple of hundred happier. The Heat are not a bad team they are just a team that likes to run isolation plays and have a coach from the planet Neptune. Or Atlantis. He does not have the control of his team like the great motivator, Doc Rivers.

Good game, no less. Cheers!

well, Miami beats OKC at home and covers the spread. When the Heat are on, they are on. For a team to beat them, they have to exploit their weaknesses. Force Bosh past that twelve to fifteen feet where he is deadly. Make Wade take threes and just try to keep LeBron in check. Big game that has consequences on the home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Lakers are winning against the Clippers. Boston just lost to the Spurs. The Spurs keep hanging around playing strongly and speaking softly.

These are going to be great playoffs. You Bulls backers will see their limitations, soon. This just in: Derrick Rose is a cheater.
i feel sorry for whoever draws Boston in the first round. Can the Knicks steer the ship straight without Lin in the line-up?

I took OKC in the second half at +2 that did not go well but took portland/nj second half over 98 points for both to score (they scored 99 so i won) and right now watching lakers/clippers took the second half over 95 points for both to score.. lets see how that comes out..

i cant wait for the season to finish. i hate watching this celtics team flounder down the stretch. i like the guys on that team too much to seem them go down like that. i know they are gonna gear up for one final run but i just dont see it. maybe they'll get to the 2nd round but too old/too many injuries/cant rebound for shit (b/c they play so small b/c they have no big men).

i'll be happy if chicago/okc wins it. anyone but the lakers and heat. especially the heat. i hope they (and particularly lebron) never wins a championship.

paoboston-I love the Celtics' chances. Disagree. I feel sorry for whoever gets them in the first round.

celtics are old and slow.. but fact they are the hottest team in the nba with a very solid defense right now.. they will win the division no doubt.

i see a okc-chicago final and honestly i just do not see anyone stoping okc this year.

todays picks without looking at spreads:

okc
toronto
miami
milwaukee
san antonio
dallas
utah
lakers

i've watch this team every night. the c's might get out of the first round. that's pretty much all i see this team doing. currently i think they'd play atlanta if the playoffs were to start today. not the worst of matchups. the c's usually do well against them. probably the best possible matchup they could get b/c their best big (horford) is out. outside of the that, all their other potential opponents offer stiffer matchups. the c's usually do well against orlando as well but their lack of big man depth terrifies me against that team. howard would absolutely destroy kg/steimsma/hollins/bass in the post.

the c's have the best record b/c they beat up on teams like charlotte/milwaukee/etc after the break. miami was their first big win and tbh that had more to do with miami not showing up/being passive thatn the c's. as for the division, the c's count championships, not division titles.

as for okc, i'm not so sure they'll be there in the finals. i like okc but i think they can be stopped a team with good perimeter defenders (memphis/lakers/san antonio). okc doesnt have a very good defense. i think they can be exposed.

Boston just took care of Miami, handily. Bulls currently beating the Knicks. Those were the big games on tap. I believe in these Celtics.

I agree celtics are good.. dont count them out even though they are old.. experience prevails many times. Miami it seems are going to choke.

No one will want to play the C's now come playoffs they are rolling...

Knicks just had a massive win vs the Bucks & should now really secure at least 8th seed. 12-4 under Woodson now

Many home teams lost today

- Oklahoma lost at home to the clippers today
- San Antonio lost at home to the Lakers without Kobe

what a great game watched the Portland - Golden State match.

Brooklyn Nets.

Pathetic display by the Nets anyway.

Speaking of pathetic, let's do ourselves a favor guys by honoring this page dedicated to the dreadful Bobcats.
