Well Juve will play all defence in Italy and without our playmaker Suarez it will be difficult to create chances. Ah well, I'm going to bed, let's see if I can see the things more positive tomorrow wink.gif

Ajax ripped PSV apart in the crucial match between them today, winning 4-1 in the Amsterdam ArenA. With this win Ajax is just 1 point behind PSV who is second now and who plays with the leader FC Twente next week, who is 6 points ahead of Ajax. Ajax surely can finish 2nd now and qualify for Champions League qualifiers, and the title will most likely go to FC Twente.

It makes me quite jealous Pantelic is doing well for Ajax as he was a target for Olympiakos and we were close to signing him, and people werent saying he is not good enough for Oly.

Suarez is a gun player who will move to a big club in the Summer or next year, all the tops clubs are after him and his form has been tremendous

I've had my doubts about Pantelic to say the truth. But I see him more and more being a decent striker and respect him more and more. And yes, what to say about Suarez, this guy is just phenomenal. IMO we may not sell him for a price lower than about 30M. The last rumours say that he will go to Barca. Although he has a contract till 2013. I just hope we aren't gonna sell all our key players again this summer, something that Ajax did multiple times the last seasons. The players Ajax has should play to play for Ajax and make Ajax a big club again, not to be sold within a few years to greater clubs.

Ajax placed itself in the final of the Dutch cup by winning 0-6 of 2nd division club Go Ahead Eagles. The Final will be a "Klassieker" between the two arch rivals Feyenoord and Ajax. Feyenoord beat FC Twente yesterday 2-1. There is a problem with this though, cuz the final was planned to be played at the Kuip, the Feyenoord stadium, and the two mayors of Amsterdam and Rotterdam had agreed that there would be no away fans in games between Ajax and Feyenoord. To be continued...

The Eredivisie is on fire as of today. FC Twente was beaten 1-0 by AZ yesterday, while Ajax beat Willem II today with 0-2, bringing the difference between Twente and Ajax down to 1 point. PSV seems definately chanceless for the title, they are 5 points behind Ajax. Its remarkable that Ajax has a goal ratio of 98-19, while Twente has a ratio of 59-23. Ajax has an easier program to play than Twente. Ajax plays Heracles at home and then NEC away, while Twente plays Feyenoord at home and NAC away. One draw from Twente is enough for Ajax to get on top...

The nothing changed today in the rankings of the Eredivisie, as Ajax and FC Twente both won today; Ajax - Heracles Almelo 4-0, FC Twente - Feyenoord 2-0. Ajax is looking to take revenge now in the next two finals of the cup (because the Dutch football association was afraid of riots between the two eternal enemies of Holland, Ajax and Feyenoord, they split the final up in two home games each for one of the teams), as feyenoord cheered for Twente and frightened their own players, so that Feyenoord would lose and Ajax wont get the championship. Ill post a video of the feyenoord highlights too so that you could see it with your own eyes...

Ajax beat feyenoord today with 2-0 in the first game of the two 'finals' at the Amsterdam ArenA. It could have been a bigger score cuz Ajax was clearly the better team and it scored the goals in the 7 first minutes, so the Ajax fans are a bit disappointed with the 2-0...

After not winning the title by 1 point, Ajax has won the Dutch cup. After winning at home with 2-0, Ajax beat his arch-rival Feyenoord again this time around with 1-4... Now Ajax is looking to beat FC Twente for the Dutch Supercup, to take revenge. Ajax has set a sort of negative clubrecord not winning the Dutch competition in 6 years...

Latest transfer news:

* Mounir El Hamdoui from AZ to Ajax (€5M, usable against PAOK)
* Mido from Middlesbrough to Ajax (free, waiting for work permit)

Most likely also Daniel de Ridder will come to Ajax from Wigan (free).

Young winger of Ajax, Aras Ozbiliz received Armenian citizenship, hence he plays for Armenia national football team. (He refused to play for Netherlands.)

And it looks like Ajax will prolongate their title after a winning streak of 10 games!

And Ajax has indeed finished first in the Dutch Eredivisie. Ajax needed one point to secure the title in the second to last match of the season. In the Amsterdam ArenA it beat VVV with 2-0.

The last time Ajax managed to prolongate a title, was in the years 1995-1996, when de Boer was still a player, Louis van Gaal was coaching the team, and Ajax had just won the Champions League in 1995.

Tomorrow the team will be honored next to the stadium, I'm probably going, pics to follow!

1. Ajax 73
2. Feyenoord 67
3. PSV 66
4. SC Heerenveen 64
5. AZ 62
6. FC Twente 60
