besiktas have signed the norwegian international striker carew,this is a very big signing ,the guy is young and very talented .the turkish clubs in general have been very active in the transfer market ,with the brazilian capt.in the copa signing to play in turkey his name is alex,and flavio conceicao,while panathinaikos is buying no name croatians
 why couldnt a greek club go after carew?

I can't understand what Turkey has in its league that we don't...and yet the continue to sign von Hooijdonks, Giuntis, Sukurs, Alexs, Conceicaos, and now this guy...

It's the money they have..
As we all kno,in Turkey,there is the rich and then the poor...but the rich ppl are rich..there is no middle class..or a very small one.. so the rich guys that own the soccer clubs have the money to buy these players...and they aren't cheap..like our Vardinopousti  |

Oh really! I love to see a Greek team face my Fenerbahce this year!  Logos there is a middle class(like my case  ) but mainly at the western Turkey. The problem here is west is rich east is very poor, i mean the contrast is bigger than north and south Italy.  btw it's not only the rich president thing. teams like BJK and FB have a very healthy budget and big incomes from merchadising and season ticket sales and etc. Also these teams are in the financial market. fener always seems to have a super team. but the way this years AEK or pao are, you never know. our major clubs seem to be moving backwards

Well,Even tho we would probably smoke any turkish team...I will admit,I am jealous hearing all these big names going to the Turkish League..How can I not be...and already we saw that Turkish teams are rising in europe,as all the turkish clubs got further than all the greek clubs..
