it is not in Turkey's interest to join Asia simply to make WC easier.. Otherwise Armenia,Azerbaijan,Kazakhstan would be in Asia..(Take our Greek glasses off) Turkey has more right to be in UEFA than the other 3 Asian nations.

The reason why Kazakhstan left AFC to join UEFA is because being part of UEFA improves the standard of domestic football as a whole. And there is more money being distributed to UEFA members by UEFA than AFC.

Being part of UEFA CL,Europa League has huge benefits for clubs and the country's FA..

Australia left the smaller Oceania to join AFC for similar reasons..Better being part of the stronger Confederation.
