They are obsessed with the whole "Greece and Greeks were created by Germans in the 19th Century theory"..
You see part of their propaganda is to do what we do...its a strategy... We and the educated world argue they are an early 20th Century spin off from Bulgarians and are mid 20th Century Tito creation.. So they counter with...Greeks were created by Germany?? |

I think the fact that they fought for Bulgaria (and Bulgaria fought for them) in the Balkan wars, the language, the self-identifying "Bugarski", was all enough to confirm they are ETHNIC Bulgarians. Macedonia was used for these people as a toponym- they were Buglarians FROM the region of Macedonia, therefore "Macedonians".
This about sums it up - FYROM thinks that Bulgarians were separate and "all along there was this Macedonian nation etc" etc bullshit, bullshit its totally silly at this point. viewing the video objectively - i see nothing wrong with it. the video doesn't bring up absurd archaeology nor ridiculous historical narratives.
i have no doubt that a nato membership would be fodder for the propaganda wing of fyrom and it's diaspora, but they played their cards right on this video. i believe they won't get invited..but, one day we'll have to stop laughing at everything they throw at the wall because one day...something will stick to the wall. |
